Donations to Chiapas, Mexico

Earlier this year we had hoped to be able to go down on a missions trip to Chiapas, Mexico with Voice of the Martyrs. The timing was not good with Edith's nursing school and board exams. This was disappointing but we were excited to be able to send many donated items to the Christians there who are experiencing persecution. We continue to pray that God would lead us into what He wants us to do in the future. We see the needs of the people in Mexico and our hearts are drawn there.

We are currently praying about a possible trip to Chiapas, Mexico in August with VOM. Four places where there is persecution is in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Ocosingo, Las Margaritas, and Simojovel. The plan is to fly into Mexico City and take a bus to these different places where we will be encouraging the Christians and helping with other basic needs.
